Families, Faith & Prison Advocacy

A hand to carry the weight, and a road mapped for the way home β€” for the one coming back, and the family waiting to run and meet them. Always free.

A self-help tool that organizes and informs β€” not a law firm, not legal advice, and it never promises an outcome. For legal action, work with a licensed attorney.

β€œRemember those in prison, as if you were together with them in prison.” β€” Hebrews 13:3

The parable

The father ran to meet him

Jesus told of a son who took his share, wandered far, and lost everything β€” until, at the bottom, he came to himself and turned toward home, rehearsing an apology he never got to finish. β€œBut while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” No lecture. No probation. A robe, a ring, and a feast β€” β€œfor this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.”

That is the whole heart of coming home. And the Lord never stood far from the prison β€” He put Himself inside it: β€œI was in prison, and you came to Me.” What we do for the one behind the wall, and for the family holding the door open, we do as unto Christ Himself. So we go, and we help the family run to meet them.

Why we built this

For twelve years I watched my family fight β€” to bring my father home, and to see him treated as a man made in God’s image: his rights honored, his failing heart cared for, the good he earned counted. My father is a man of faith, and he is coming home to build this mission for Christ, beside me. What our family has carried, no family should carry alone. So we built this, and we give it away β€” for families like ours, and for the Lord who restores what was broken.

β€œI will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.” β€” Joel 2:25

He paid it himself, and never sent a bill

A man lay wounded on the road, passed by twice β€” until a stranger, the Samaritan, stopped. He bound the wounds, carried the man, and paid the innkeeper out of his own pocket: β€œLook after him, and whatever more it costs, I will repay.” He never handed the wounded man a bill. The Good Samaritan Β· from Luke 10:33–35

This program is that pocket. Funded by our tithe β€” one of the three causes Anchor Core carries, alongside estate and family court β€” and given freely to families walking a loved one’s road home. A hand to hold was never meant to be sold. So it never will be.

Honest by design. This program organizes and informs β€” it is not legal advice and it promises no outcome. Release, sentence-credit, and grievance decisions belong to the Bureau of Prisons and the courts, and each facility’s rules vary and govern. For legal action, work with a licensed attorney. We’ll walk beside you, honestly, every step.
